For younger supporters, Swindon are THE enemy, probably because their memories don't go back to regular games against Aldershot or Oxford. Thw 2000/01 season saw Swindon's first visit to Madejski Stadium, or at least for those able to find their way there.

Over the years we have developed a number of anti-Swindon songs which, although we sing them all the time, are best used when actually playing against them. A selection:

Some Swindon information:

Given the well-documented reading and writing problems in Wiltshire, it's difficult to know who exactly runs Swindon websites. My theory is that some sharp businessman is over-charging them to run these sites, and then reading the replies back. So if you do want to gloat, here are some Swindon messageboards:

  1. Swindon Town FC Supporters Forum - main message board. Contains photos unsuitable for family viewing in most of the country, but which are presumably OK in Swindon as they are not of naked sheep. The sub-heading is "The only football site that can claim not to talk about football for 99% of the time" - I have absolutely no idea what that means.
  2. SwindonTFC Message Board - fair number of posts
  3. SwindonWeb's STFC Bulletin Board - hardly any posts
  4. we8oxford forum - a few posts. The board appears to have been hacked by some Oxford fans, as it now says, we_love_oxford at the top of the page, and has a link to an Oxford site!
