Our last competitive meetings were in the league in 1991/92. We won 2-1 away and 6-1 at home. Torquay finished 23rd and were relegated to Division 4. Before that we played them in the League Cup in 1988 - we won 1-0 away and 3-1 at home. I tell you - this is the sort of club we like to play against.

Last defeat to Reading - in a competitive match the last time we met, obviously. 6-1! In friendlies, 3-0 in July 2000
Nearest station to ground - Torre (but not many trains stop there so it's usually better to use Torquay)
Trivia - in 1983 I entered what I thought was a fun run whilst on holiday nearby. I came last by a long long way - it was really a top quality road race featuring Commonwealth champions and World Championship finalists. Don't be caught out like me - stick to football and avoid any athletics events.
