For years, Wrexham had played in a three-sided ground. Suddenly when we arrived in 1999/2000 a shiny new stand had appeared, the only problem being that it's total capacity was about 750, and most of those seats were empty!
The game at the MadStad in 1999/2000 saw the Pants Day protest, something which obviously made an impression on the Wrexham fans because every time I've seen one since that's the first thing they've mentioned.

Trivia - the Wrexham programme always contains a few paragraphs in Welsh. Although this would be an obvious opportunity to really slag off the club they're playing against, it is always some really bland information about that day's visitors.
