| Name | Base |
| Eddie Wolstenholme | Blackburn |
Reading games he has refereed (may not be complete):
| Date | Result | Comments |
| 22/3/2000 | Reading 2 Bristol Rovers 0 | Booked Nicky Forster for removing a duff ball from the pitch. Sent off Ian Holloway (but not Martin Allen!) |
| 27/5/2001 | Reading 2
Walsall 3 (after extra time) |
Missed a foul on Sammy Igoe in the first few minutes that should have been a red card. But the result wasn't really his fault. |
| 15/9/2001 | Stoke City 2 Reading 0 | |
| 12/1/2002 | Huddersfield Town 0 Reading 1 | Booked Nicky Forster when he was tripped for the clearest penalty you will ever see. |
Other comments:
Wolstenholme has found fame as the referee forced to abandon the match between Sheffield United and West Bromwich Albion on 16/3/2002 because Sheffield United were down to just six players. One noteworthy incident in that game was that he correctly sent off the Sheffield United goalkeeper in the first few minutes. It's just a shame that he wasn't on top of the game for the foul on Sammy Igoe in the opening minutes of the 2001 Division 2 play-off final.
Retired at the end of the 2002/03 season.
