Match preview:
Not time for a proper preview, I'm afraid. The
interest surrounds the Reading team. Unless we've all had the
wool pulled over our eyes somehow, we're down to John Mackie plus
A N Other at centre-back. The second one could be:
A loan signing - but it's now too late, so it can't be. (Later
news - apparently it wasn't too late.)
Darius Henderson - finished Monday's game there and played at
centre-back for the reserves but has a knee problem so it won't
be him.
Matt Robinson - played a half of a reserve game there recently
but did not impress in the position.
Ricky Allaway - no first team experience apart from as a non-playing
substitute, so very unlikely.
Graeme Murty - could play there, but he's our only right-back, so
we'd have to have Matt Robinson covering for him.
Phil Parkinson - the most likely solution, but unfortunate as we
could do with him back in midfield.
Assuming that it is Parkinson who gets the nod, then we might also see other changes, as the game on the glue-pit in Brighton on Monday night will surely have taken it out of some of our players. Jamie Cureton may get a chance to start, and Joe Gamble might come back into the reckoning. Robinson could even get a nod ahead of Nicky Shorey.
If you aren't going to the game, it is of course
showing on the ITV Sports Channel. The official site lists the
Reading-based pubs that are showing the game, whilst you should
be able to find any further afield by following this link:

However, and annoyingly, that link was not working the last time
I checked it.
Ticket information:
Swindon normally have two areas for away fans - uncovered seating behind the goal for about 1,900 and covered seating in the side of the main stand for 1,197. There have been occasions in the past when they have also put away fans in the other end as well, using it as an overflow area. With the home team in financial difficulties at the moment, they may well take the money against Reading.
Tickets go on sale to season ticket holders on Saturday, 19th January (after the Blackpool home game), to Supporters Club members on Thursday, 31st January, and on general sale from Monday, 4th February.
Prices are as follows:
Adults - £14
Seniors - £8
Under-16s - £6
Wheelchair plus helper - £6.50 for both
