Match notes:
This was the second match of a five-game Italian tour.
Alan Foster replaced Ivor Brown in the Reading line-up.
The match was played at Milan Arena, built in 1806,
opened by Napoleon Bonaparte, and the oldest stadium in the world
to stage first-class football. It was not Milan's home ground,
but was used for important games.
Milan Cricket and Football Club were formed in 1899
by an Englishman, and changed their name to Milan Football Club
in 1905. They are the club now known as AC Milan.
The Milan forward Louis van Hege was Belgian, and
later played for his country. He also won an Olympic gold medal
as part of the Belgium football team at the 1920 Games.
