Match notes:
Darius Henderson made his first start of the season.
When Peter Castle and Darren Campbell came on as substitutes, it was for both of them their first appearance in the first team. In the case of Castle, he became Reading's youngest ever player at the age of 16 years and 49 days, beating the record held by Steve Hetzke (16 years and 193 days).

Ticket information:
Away allocation at Watford depends on the
expected numbers arriving. If we are likely to take more than 1,000
(which I would certainly hope was the case) then we will get most
of one end stand which has 5,500 seats. Otherwise it is part of
one of the side stands presumably holding up to 1,000. I'm not
sure how many tickets there are in our initial allocation, but
they go on sale to season ticket holders (two per season ticket)
on Monday, 7th April, to Supporters' Trust members (one per
member) on Wednesday, 9th April and on general sale from Monday,
14th April. Prices are:
Adults - £20
Seniors and Under-16s - £15
