Match notes:
Compared to the Stoke City game, Bas Savage replaced Scott Murray, Andy Hughes replaced James Harper whilst Steve Brown replaced the injured Graeme Murty. In addition there was a change of formation to 4-4-2 (even if not at the start of the game, then certainly very early on). Dean Morgan replaced Nathan Tyson on the substitutes' bench.
When Morgan came on as substitute, it was his debut for Reading.
