This is the first ever season for Reading Football Club and so is of huge significance. I am still continuing my research into this period, but I am confident that these were the only two games played. This makes it surely the only season in which we failed to score a goal!

James Simonds was the President and Joseph Edward Sydenham the first Secretary.
