Since the demise of Aldershot, Reading's closest rivals have been Oxford United and Swindon Town. On the occasions when all three teams have played in the same division, there was an unofficial Didcot Triangle competition, using the league results between the teams. With the arrival of Wycombe Wanderers on the scene, Spencer Collyer suggested a new contest, based on the Wallingford Quadrangle.
However, for 2001/02, Oxford United played in Division 3, meaning that both of the above competitions will be unplayed. I liked this page of my website so much, though, that I made up some more! Neither of them are as natural a competition as the Didcot Triangle, however.
The Wantage triangle covers the remaining three teams of the Wallingford Quadrangle and the "You're not fit to wear the Hoops" Cup features Reading against the team who liked our colours so much that they had to use them for themselves.

Another glorious victory for Reading.
Of course, whatever the results, this cup will
always be a moral victory for the team who wore the hoops first.
(Reading wore them in 1872, Queens Park Rangers didn't even exist
until 1885 or 1886.)
