David Lagudi
Australian David Lagudi had a trial with Reading in August 2000. He played for our Under-17s in a pre-season friendly against Portsmouth, which Reading won 1-0.
He then returned to Australia but later came back to England for a trial with Chelsea. He stayed at Stamford Bridge three months but before he could sign a contract was diagnosed with a rheumatic disease and so went back to Australia to recuperate. In December 2002 he was with Parramatta Melita Eagles in the New South Wales Premier League, a club who are the Oceania link for Manchester United. David hopes to return to England to progress his career here.
