Linden Jones
Defender, born 5/3/1961. As well as Reading - who bought him from Newport County for £33,000 in July 1987 when the Welsh club were desperate for the money - Linden has played for Bargoed YMCA, Cardiff City and Newport County in the Football League as well as Newport AFC where he was assistant manager, and Ebbw Vale. In July 1996 he took over from Alan Curtis as the Football in the Community Officer at Swansea City.
