Richard "Ricky" Burnett
Ricky played on trial with Reading's Under-17 team in September 2000. He appeared against both Middlesbrough and Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Premier Academy League.
Ricky has played in the Aldershot Town youth set-up and in 2002/03 is playing for their reserve side under the PASE (Programme for Academic and Sporting Excellence) scheme, which aims to provide an opportunity for young players to get good football coaching at a non-league academy whilst also in full-time education. He ended 2002/03 with 13 goals in the PASE league.
In 2003/04, Ricky played in a pre-season friendly against Chelsea and has appeared for Aldershot Town in the Football Combination.
