Steve Hipwell
Steve Hipwell played in Reading's reserve team in 1971/72. At the moment, that's all I know about his career with Reading.
He later moved into non-league football in the North-West, winning the Northern Premier League title with Runcorn in 1975/76. I think he may have had a short spell at Stafford Rangers before joining Bangor City. With Bangor in 1978 he appeared in a Welsh Cup Final defeat to Wrexham and in the Anglo-Italian Cup, where he played alongside Bobby Charlton (an executive director at Bangor at the time).
He now (November 2003) works for Cheshire County Council as a buildings inspector and still plays 5-a-side football every Friday.
