With effect from the 2000-2001 tax year the
Inland Revenue have simplified the paperwork required for charities
to reclaim tax on your donation.
All you need to do is sign a simple declaration which will
allow the Trust to reclaim tax on all donations that you make. So
for every £1.00 that you donation from your post-tax income, the Trust
can reclaim £0.28 from the Revenue. If you are a higher rate
taxpayer then you will also be able to reclaim further relief on self
assessment form.
If you would like to make a donation to the Trust and allow
the Trust to reclaim the tax paid then please print out one of the
declarations (see below) and send with your cheque by post to the
address shown on the right.
