Update - 15th January 1999

New images

New images of Carbo Tech 916, T5 underseat exhaust, T5 fender eliminator and VTR accessories now on the web site.

Endeavour Racing

Rhencullen are pleased to be involved with a new UK based race team, Endeavour Racing.   1999 will see the team contest the highly competitive SuperSport 600 race series with a Suzuki GSXR600.  Rhencullen will be supplying the very light and strong Carbo Tech carbon kevlar race bodywork for the team.  The team will officially be launched at the Racing and Sporting Motorcycle Show at Alexander Palace in London on 28th January 1999.

Update - 12th December 1998

JMV Concept

A new range to Rhencullen, this French manufacturer specialises in innovative body panels for sports bikes.  These include a wide range of rear fender eliminators to clean up the rear of your bike, incorporating number plate brackets and illumination.   Available for T595, TL1000, CBR900 and ZX-9R amongst others.  The R1 unit relocates the standard light unit further under the seat to sharpen the rear end of the bike.

T5 underseat exhaust

Ready for release in early January the T5 underseat exhaust is currently going through its final stages of development.  Prices will be £850 for stainless steel cans, and £895 for carbon or titanium cans.  Fitting will involve cutting the rear mudguard and relocating the underseat relays.  The kit includes a replacement expansion tank, and does not require relocation of any items from under the seat so the system is attractive to both T595 and T509 owners alike.  The position of the twin pipes has been designed to ensure no contact with the rear wheel when on full suspension travel.

Update - 20th November 1998

Renegade

Renegade have now completed their left exit pipe for the T5 series, along with their own high twin pipe system for these bikes.

VTR Rear sets

Now available an adjustable rear set footrest kit for the VTR1000.  The footrest is in two parts - to simplify repair in event of an accident - and has vertical adjustment to suit the riders preferred foot position.  A GP gearshift patern option is also available.  These polished aluminium pieces are available at £225.

Adjustable Rear sets

Adjustable rear set footrest kits are now available for a range of sports bikes including, R1, GSXR, TL1000, CBR900 and T5.

Sharkskinz

Sharkskinz have developed two new single seat units.  The R1 seat unit is a more rounded unit, and features a top trap door to allow more storage space within the seat.   The GSXR750 and 600 can now sport single seats with a distinctive Grand Prix RG500 tail piece.  Based on the Darryl Beattie bike, this seat unit will make your GSXR that little bit special.

Race Bodywork

We are now able to supply race bodywork for the VTR, R1 and many other sports motorcycles.  Manufactured in light weight glass fibre, these economical kits can keep your expensive OEM bodywork unscathed when attending track days.
