Freddy Nordstrom
Freddy Nordstrom turned 17 in February 2006 and whilst he may have 'L' plates on his roadcar he is certainly no novice in the race seat! In 2003, Freddy entered the T Car Championship as the youngest licensed driver and finished as top novice and 4th overall. A further season of T Cars in 2004 saw Freddy take his first win (Anglesey) along with 13 other podium appearances. In 2004 Freddy also captured his first driver of the day award - the first of many we are sure!. In 2005, Freddy moved into the very popular John Cooper Challenge driving a Mini Cooper S. The Mini, one of the most iconic cars in Britain and beyond, attracts a huge field of both competitors and spectators alike and Freddy made a marvellous debut taking his first Mini win along with a 2nd, two 3rds and five 4ths enabling him to finish 4th overall in the Mini Cooper S Championship. In 2006, Freddy was once more at the wheel of the Advent Motorsport prepared Mini Cooper S once more in the Championship which has been rebranded as the Mini Challenge. In a stunning display Freddy won the Mini Challenge S Class Championship. In 2007, Freddy is competing in the R Class of the SEAT Cupra Championship. Off the track, Freddy can tell you about his dedication to motorsport not only in English and Swedish but his linguist skills also sees him chatting in German, French and Italian which will prove very useful given his ambition to race in International Touring Cars!
