ElectroAngels Are:
Sally Ballinger: Vocals
Richard Ballinger: Synths & Programming
Lee Baldwin: Synths, Programming & Guitar

Formed by Lee after placing an ad for a vocalist in the local press and because of this met Sally and Richard.

After writing and rehearsing tracks, the band decided to enter the South West Battle of the bands competition and found themselves in the 98 finals. This would be their first public performance. The Electro Angels were born in front of 500 people.

After much local acclaim, the Electro Angels were asked to play various venues including what turned out to be a biker’s bash, attended by a 200 strong crowd. An electronic outfit performing live at a bikers bash I hear you cry! Well it was a blast, culminating in the Angels being asked to play the forthcoming National Bulldog Bash

Not content with all of this, the Angels were then invited to play the Rosswyn, a well-known local live music venue in Ross-on-Wye as a build up to the 98 International Festival. A huge crowd descended upon the venue as word got out and the evening was a huge success, drawing in record crowds for the venue and of course, record takings. Then in September 98 came an invite to perform for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The concert was a sell-out and raised hundreds of pounds for charity.

By this time, the Angels had received a deluge of requests for CD's and press release info. So, the Angels set about doing exactly that. The result being PLASMA, a selection of four tracks of which the Angels have performed live to their rapidly expanding fan base.

Within a few days, demand had outstripped supply and the Angels discovering that tracks had been played on British Forces Radio at home and in countries such as Germany and Bosnia. Invites to perform abroad soon followed.

Hungry for success the Angels have formed their own label called Element Of Sound, (EOS) purely to feed the demand of their loyal following and to ultimately clinch a major recording deal in order to reach a wider audience both at home in the UK and abroad.

Hard working and committed, the Angels have indulged themselves into their music, what with Sally being a vastly experienced lead vocalist and performer. Richard having had major technical experience with Europe’s largest music corporation and Lee a one-time session keyboard player and programmer. It is not difficult to see why the Angels strive to fulfill the ultimate ambition...

 SUCCESS!

Recently, the Angels performed at local venues and on both occasions had well over 800 people in attendance and over 2000 at the recent Bulmers Cider Festival.

The year 2000 brings the Angels further bookings and a place in the Budweiser band of the year concerts. Also the Ross-on-Wye International Festival along with artists as Mansun and Van Morrison...
