Costs
Here is a running total of what the car cost to complete.
As you can see it probably isn't going to be the cheapest Striker ever made, but I take the view that I am only building this once and I'd rather pay for the best bits I can afford, rather than paying for them after I've already paid for something else beforehand and decided I want to change it.
A lot of cost was saved by careful sourcing of components and there are some real bargains in there. The suppliers used were the cheapest at the time and, where possible, orders were placed for all the components needed from a particular supplier at the same time to minimise the accumulating cost of carriage.
