Hart Male Voice Choir: Bursary Award

Hart Male Voice Choir, in partnership with the 6th Form College, Farnborough, is offering bursaries to support a young male singer who shows potential as a soloist or a strong choral singer. Each bursary, which will be to a maximum of £500 a year, will be used to support and encourage on-going musical development. This could include: Additional tuition · Purchase of music · Examination fees.
The award of the bursary, based on audition, comprises: A performance of a song · Basic aural test · Vocal exercises.
The bursary is initially for 1 year but can be renewed for a further year subject to a review of commitment and progress.
Congratulations to David Price (he took part in the very first Young Singers competition as a junior) and Daniel Coldridge, who have been awarded The Inaugural 2008 Bursaries.
