FOOD: Poison or Pleasure ??

Don't handle raw food and then immediately handle cooked food without washing your hands thoroughly.

Do wash your hands often.

Don't store raw food above cooked food in your fridge.

Do make sure that your fridge runs at a constant temperature between one degree and four degrees Celsius.

Don't re-freeze frozen food once it has thawed.

Do make sure that food is used before the expiry date or its 'use by' date

Don't keep chilled or cooked food at room temperature.

Do make sure different types of food are separated and that cross-contamination from knives and chopping boards is prevented.

Don't allow your pets near your food.
