FEELING HOT! HOT!
HOT!

Gardening Which? and the
Vegetarian Society have got together to run a National Veg
Barbecue Day on 19th June.
The aim is to promote growing your own Veg and
eating lots of fantastic fresh food. This has the added
advantage that producing food in a garden or allotment
reduces "food miles" travelled and so has broader ecological
and health benefits such as reducing pollution.
A veg barbecue may raise eyebrows in some
quarters, but it is a great way to gobble up those seasonal
gluts and enjoy the garden after the work is done. We are
encouraging as many people as possible to break out the
barbecue, bin the burger and make a meal with a difference.
There is a Flaming Hot Veg BBQ pack full of
fantastic recipes and top tips available, free to Gardening
Which? members and £1.50 (payable to Which Ltd) to
non-members. Call 0645 830089, or apply in writing to PO Box
44, Hertford X, SG14 1SH.
For all you party animals we have got Barbecues
organised all over the country for your pleasure and
delectation.
