Cycling Summit Emissions Streets Ahead The QED Transport Group held a lively special session on June 3, 1999 at Princes Golf and Leisure Centre on the public transport implications of the massive Bluewater Shopping Centre, which opened in March. Presentations were made by representatives from Bluewater, Kent County Council and Arriva Buses.

Dartford's own electric van, pictured at the 1998 Dartford Festival. The van is used by the Borough Council's Environmental Services Division on a variety of tasks around the borough, including the servicing of air quality monitoring equipment. Note the QED logo on the side. Transport and Air Pollution issues are both addressed by the QED Transport Group. The van is capable of 50 miles on one charging.
