January 7 ~ A great performance by our ladies team at the County Championships in Droitwich with seven turning out amongst a larger field this year of 52. Full details are now on the LADIES CROSS COUNTRY PAGE.
December 3 ~ Our ladies produced a brilliant result at Northampton, with EIGHT of them finishing the second cross country fixture of the season. It is four years since we had this many finishers in a single race, and this may well equal our best ever turnout. Included in the eight were debutantes LOUISE WEBBER and JANE O'SHAUGHNESSSY who have just joined the club. Our ladies finished 18th of 33 clubs, while our vet ladies came home 7th of 24. All individual results are now on the LADIES CROSS COUNTRY PAGE - sadly, unlike the men's league, the ladies do not include a current league table taking in results after two races. If anyone has time to work this out, please send it to me.
December 3 ~ The second fixture of the 2011/2012 cross country season saw our men's team improve to an 11th place finish at Northampton, though we remain in 14th position overall with half the season completed. Full results are now available on the MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY PAGE including team positions after two races. We have also updated other sections of the page which should now be accurate. November 12 ~ An excellent start to the 2011/12 cross country season as our men made their debut in DIVISION 2 of the Birmingham & District Invitation League after last season's promotion as Division 3 Champions. Despite missing a number of our leading runners, IAN HALL's team posted a superb 14th position out of the 18 teams at Leamington. Full results are now up on the MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY PAGE

In the race for the leading senior runner in four out of four races, NEV WATSON finished 3rd on 26 points, with STUART HAWKES 4th ON 41.
February 14 ~ Another 2010/2011 success as our men's "B" team complete the season in second place, one of only two clubs who were able to field a second team in all four races.
February 12 ~ For the second time in four races we had six finishers in the Midlands Womens Cross Country League final fixture at Cofton Park.

February 12 ~ AMAZING FEET RC WIN DIVISION THREE !!!!!!  AMAZING FEET RC PROMOTED TO DIVISION TWO !!!!!!  What an incredible season from IAN HALL and his team of 24 club members who have taken part this season to propel the club to new heights.  In our first season in Division 3 back in 2003/4 we finished 13th out of 13 clubs who completed the season, having struggled to even manage a full team of six ! And now, we have won the Division comfortably, earning a well deserved promotion to Division Two for the 2011/2012 season. Well done to every single person involved during the four races this year.

January 18 ~ Full results from Saturday are now up on the Men's Cross Country Page. In addition to the individual and team stats, NEV WATSON is currently joint second in the individual season awards on 18 points, 5 behind the leader (three to count) with STUART HAWKES in fifth and MARTIN DAVIES sixth. SHAW PYE currently leads the table of those with two results out of three.

January 15 ~ What a season ! Following the ladies successes at the County Championships a week ago, it was the men's turn again at Wyken Croft in Coventry. SHAW PYE won the third race of the Birmingham & District Cross Country league season, the first of 19 finishers for the club. We finished again in first place, and pulled further away from Sphinx AC and West Bromwich Harriers at the top of Division 3.

January 10 ~ Full details from Saturday's Worcestershire Cross Country Championships are now on the Ladies X-C page. Total number of finishers dropped from 44 to 39 this year, but Amazing Feet recorded 5 finishers compared to 4 in 2010. SARAH ARMSTRONG repeated her 7th place of 2010, but improved her F40 category finish by a place to take the third place medal. RACHEL WARD had a storming run to finish 11th and take the F50 runner-up medal. Sarah, Rachel and HELEN HAWKES (who improved from 18th in 2010 to 8th) took the County team silver medals, just six points behind Bromsgrove & Redditch AC, but well clear of local rivals Kidderminster & Stourport AC.

January 10 ~ Full details from Saturday's Worcestershire Cross Country Championships are now on the Men's X-C page. Well done to DAVID WHYMANT who finished as third M60, and to STUART HAWKES who led our squad home in 27th position - the same as his finishing position in 2010.

January 8 ~ Another great club cross-country day at the Worcestershire County Championships in Cofton Park on the southern edges of Birmingham. Our ladies finished 5th out of six teams at the 2010 Championships : this year they took a magnificent second team prize out of 8 teams, with both SARAH ARMSTRONG and RACHEL WARD collected individual medals. Our heroic men's squad finished THIRTEEN athletes this year, against just six who took part in 2010. Full results to follow.

December 19 ~ Team results from the Midland Womens Cross Country League for races one and two can now be found on the Ladies X-C page.

December 4th ~ For the second month running, club records are smashed at Nuneaton in to-day's second Cross Country league fixture of 2010/11. SHAW PYE equals NEV WATSON's highest ever individual finish from last month with a fantastic SECOND PLACE. AMAZING FEET RC finishes in FIRST PLACE, beating last month's previous record of third, while we have 20 finishers for our highest ever number of runners - all 15 that set last month's record, plus a further five. Once again, well done to everybody who took part.

November 7th ~ The rest of the Ladies Cross Country page will be updated this coming week. Our girls finished 23rd out of a record 36 teams at Leamington Spa, while our vets team finished 9th out of 20.

NEV WATSON records our highest ever individual finish with an excellent SECOND PLACE; AMAZING FEET RC records it's highest ever team finish when the leading six take THIRD PLACE; and we place fifteen finishers to record our highest ever number of participants. Well done to all concerned.

October 16th ~ With the first league fixture still two weeks away, SIXTEEN members have indicated that they will be available to run at Leamington Spa on October 30th. Given that we have never fielded more than 12 runners (and that was only once) this will be a fantastic achievement. If any body else wants to join the "squad", please let IAN HALL know before race day.

June 27th ~ Dates and venues for the 2010/2011 League Division 3 fixtures have now been released, and these can be found on the MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY PAGE ; Ladies fixtures still to be announced.

Feb 13th ~ The final race of the 2010 Birmingham & District Invitation Cross Country League was held at West Bromwich to-day, with our men taking a seventh place finish on the day, but slipping just one place back in the final league table to finish 8th. The usual race report from captain IAN HALL is now on the MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY LEAGUE PAGE.

And that's just the men.  Full details and results to follow.

Oct 26th ~ Well done to our three scoring finishers : SARAH ARMSTRONG, RACHEL WARD and RACHEAL MOSS who brought the club home in 19th position out of 27 teams in the Midland Womens League at Senneleys Park. Sadly, a mixture of athletics administrative nonsense, and errors by Kidderminster & Stourport, we have been robbed this year of both Louise Massey and Emma Hornby, though Emma did run as a club member (which she is) and came home first of our four ladies.

Aug 11th ~ Our men's Captain SHAW PYE announces today that he is to stand down immediately due to work and college commitments over the next few months.  Sadly, this decision has come after our most successful season ever in 2007/8, but the committee wishes to thank Shaw for all his efforts.  The search for a new Cross Country Captain starts here.
SARAH LEWIS is to continue as our Ladies Cross Country Captain into the 2008/2009 season
