| Dec 27 ~ 19 take part in to-day's Wheaton Aston 10km, with CRAIG BONE taking the 2006 Race League title after a 46 second win over SIMON JAROSINSKI. CRAIG, SIMON, JOHN AMOS and GERRY SANDERS complete an ever-present season - JOHN & GERRY for the second successive year, and JOHN for the third time. ELLIE HOOPER is first F50 home, setting a PB AND breaking her own F50 club record. Ellie's nine points gives her third place in the Ladies League behind ANITA JONES and SARAH LEWIS, beating RACHEL WARD by just ONE POINT ! JANE PYE is second F50 home |

| Dec 20 ~ Richard makes the draw for the clubs Flora London Marathon places tonight ~ well done to our 2006 Ladies Race League ANITA JONES and our Ladies Cross Country Captain SARAH LEWIS who picked up the two guaranteed entries. DAVID PYE is the reserve, and will step up should one of the ladies decide not to go ahead for any reason before February 16th |

| Dec 18 ~ More results from yesterday : SARAH ARMSTRONG ventured across the border to run the Merthyr Mawr Christmas Pudding 10km Challenge where the first 3/4 mile is straight up a vertical sand dune ! Congratulations to CRAIG BONE who set a new M40 5-mile record at the Guy Fawkes 5 in Tewkesbury on November 5th (replacing Brian Humphries 18 month old record); DAVID WHYMANT who replaced Lindsay Pulley's 3.1/2 year old M60 5-mile record at the same Guy Fawkes 5; CRAIG BONE again for surpassing John Amos's 3 year old M45 record at Sneyd on December 10th; DAVID WHYMANT again who set a new M60 10-mile record at Sneyd, replacing Lindsay Pulley's 6 year old record at the same venue; and ELLIE HOOPER who took Jane Pye's five month old record also at Sneyd |

| Dec 13 ~ RICHARD BAKER attends an important meeting at Alexander Stadium regarding the new structures in our sport which will come into force next April. If anyone is sufficiently interested in what is happening, please ask Richard - otherwise there will be an item about this in the next club magazine FEET FIRST No. 66 which will hopefully be available at the end of January |

| Dec 10 ~ It's another huge turnout at the penultimate League race to-day ~ the Sneyd Christmas Pudding 10km. Our wonderful ladies take the team prize (RACHEAL MOSS, ANITA JONES & AMANDA CROFTS). ELLIE HOOPER knocks almost 17 minutes off the club's F50 10-mile record with a PB AND first F50 in the race. ANITA JONES has almost certainly won the Ladies League title to-day ~ we await the results to confirm this. RICHARD BAKER completes his 40th race of the season. CRAIG BONE beats SIMON JAROSINSKI ~ the Race League title will be decided in the final race, currently all square ! |

| Dec 4 ~ Decided at tonight's meeting is the make-up of the 2007 Race League. Out goes the Forest of Dean Half, Halesowen Hillock, Crown Classic, Lake Vyrnwy Half, Sneyd 10 and Wheaton Aston 10km. These are replaced by the Stafford Half, Malvern Half, Trentham 10, Ledbury Chase 13, North Worcs 8 and Mortimer Forest 10. Full details on the RACE LEAGUE page |

| Dec 2 ~ We have received details and entry forms for the Saucony National Cross Country Championships, to be held on Saturday March 10th 2007 in Herrington Country park, Sunderland. First-claim club members are eligible to enter as long as they took part in their Territorial Championships. | Dec 2 ~ Meanwhile our men's team fielded TWELVE runners in the Birmingham League, Division Four fixture also held at Droitwich. The leading six managed to complete the race in an excellent ninth position out of the 15 clubs ~ our third highest EVER race position. More details on the RESULTS page |
