June 27 ~ Certainly a better display from our two athletes at the Gate Gallop 10km to-day than from our overpaid so-called footballers in South Africa this afternoon. MARK COOPER and RICHARD BAKER survived the intense heat and sunshine to complete this excellent multi-terrain event in Tamworth : full results to follow

June 25 ~ Great to see such a wonderful club turnout again at tonight's Blakedown Bolt and well done to all who completed a tough dusty 10km course on another blazing hot night. A huge thanks to both JANE PYE and SARAH LEWIS who were on hand during the final 3kms to cheer club runners back in, and it was also great to see ELLIE HOOPER supporting us at the event. June 23 ~ AMAZING FEET RC has been invited to participate in the Derwent River Relays on Saturday July 17th at 2.30pm. The event takes place at Belper Rugby Club and consists of 4 multi-terrain legs of 3.2 miles along footpaths beside Derbyshire's beautiful River Derwent. The start, finish and handovers all take place on the rugby Club grounds, so it is an excellent event for spectators too. There are also 1/2 mile, 1 mile and 1.1/2 mile fun runs for adults & children, free parking, changing & showers, hot & cold food, music, licensed bar and race commentary. If anyone fancies a running based, social Saturday afternoon in stunning Derbyshire countryside, please let RICHARD BAKER know well in advance of the 14th July closing date
June 22 ~ Following the Malvern Joggers 10km last Wednesday, RICHARD BAKER was back at another of his favourite summer mid-week races, the Burton-on-Trent Midsummer 10km tonight. Details are on the RESULTS PAGE : full results to follow. Richard's report is on the RACE REPORTS PAGE
June 20 ~ Impressive stuff this weekend from SHAW PYE, STUART HAWKES and STEVEN HAWKES as they all completed the Exmoor Ironman Triathlon in times under six hours and positions within the top third of the finishers. The event consisted of a 1.2 mile open water swim, 56 mile cycle ride and a half marathon run. Full details are on the RESULTS PAGE
June 20 ~ GERALDEEN LYNCH recorded her best time at the Arden 9 to-day, in what was her fifth completion of the race in it's seven-year history. MARK COOPER also took part. Details are on the RESULTS PAGE : full results to follow
June 20 ~ A remarkable 507 finishers were at the re-launched Wombourne half marathon to-day, including our own JOHN AMOS and JULIE DRAPER. John recorded his fastest half marathon time for five years on what he described as a beautiful course and gorgeous weather. Full details are on the RESULTS PAGE
June 18 ~ Results from the Malvern Joggers 10km on Wednesday 16th are now available on their website, and it's well done to SARAH ARMSTRONG who finished as third lady and F35 Champion to win, in her own words, a nice trophy and an even nicer bottle of Malvern cider. June 17 ~ 24 hours after Malvern, RICHARD BAKER was back on the roads running as a visitor in Kenilworth Runners' annual summer race league event, the Temple Trot 5 miler around the country lanes of Honiley in Warwickshire. Full results to follow
June 16 ~ Just seven FEET made the short journey to Malvern tonight and were rewarded with a simply stunning Malvern Joggers 10km. The sun shone, the views were magnificent, and the race was superb. Details of who turned out are on the RESULTS PAGE : full results to follow
June 15 ~ The INTER-CLUB RACE LEAGUE PAGE has now been updated following the last event at the Crocodile 8 on May 30th
June 15 ~ A final reminder about the Malvern Joggers 10km tomorrow evening (16th) starting at 7.30 pm. This was held for the first time in 2009, and was one of the best multi-terrain races of the year. On the night entries are £9 at Welland Village Hall and this includes a mug for finishing plus free refreshments in the Pheasant Inn after the race. There are currently seven FEET registered for the race, including all but one of the six who took part last year, so it must have been good. Don't miss out, see you there !
June 14 ~ SARAH ARMSTRONG and her daughters all ran the Worcester Race for Life yesterday, with Sarah finishing in third place ~ behind two 15 year-olds !! Details available are on the RESULTS PAGE
June 13 ~ Our only participant this year in the popular Aldridge 10km was RICHARD BAKER, who makes it 23 for the year so far. Richard's 49.35 was his first sub-50 10km of 2010. Full details are on the RESULTS PAGE
June 10 ~ RICHARD BAKER made it three races in three nights as he takes part in the Rowheath Midsummer 5km tonight - the first of a series of three races over the next couple of months : full details are on the RESULTS PAGE

June 10 ~ Results from Tuesday's Gavin Tipper 5km (June 8th) are now available and full details are on the RESULTS PAGE. JOHN AMOS finished as third M50, with RICHARD BAKER 4th M50. Richard's 14 month old M55 5km club record has gone, shattered by JOHN AMOS on his 55th birthday and in the first race in his new category. Details are on the CLUB RECORDS PAGE
June 9 ~ RICHARD BAKER is back on the road with tonight's Shropshire 4, the third race in the Telford AC Sexarathon series at Granville Country Park. Results to follow
June 8 ~ Following discussions with JOHN AMOS at tonight's Gavin Tipper 5km at D-KRC, it seems that RICHARD BAKER set a new club M55 5km record back in March 2009 at the Derby Mid-Week 5km, knocking the small sum of 14 and a half minutes of Michael Heasman's five and a half year old record. Richard then beat his own 5km record on April 15th at Derby, recording 23.16. This however will not last long : watch this space
June 6 ~ Another result from SHAW PYE : he completed the second of the Herts mid-week 10km series around the undulating cycle paths of Stevenage on May 26th. Details are on the RESULTS PAGE
June 6 ~ SHAW PYE took part in to-days British Sprint Triathlon Championships at Emberton Country Park after getting up at 4.30 to be registered and in the water for a 7.30 start !!  Must be mad !  Details are on the RESULTS PAGE
June 6 ~ JOHN AMOS is the only finisher in the warndon Villages 5km race to-day, finishing as second M50 in his final race in this category

June 4 ~ Don't forget this Sunday sees the 12th annual Warndon Villages Fun Runs where you can run either 5km or 10km : start time is 2.00 pm and entries will be taken on the day from 12 noon until 10 minutes before race start
June 3 ~ I knew that we had one finisher in the first of the Worcs Midweek League races at Hagley on May 19th, and now I know who it was !  PHIL WEBER flew the Amazing Feet flag and is now suitably recorded on the RESULTS PAGE : Full results still to follow
June 1 ~ CRAIG LEWIS advises that he completed the Cader Idris fell race last Saturday (May 29th) and on a dry course just managed to set his best time for the event. MARTIN DAVIES who joined us in March also completed the event, his first race for the club
