On a night of heavy rain and a heavy muddy course, only 76 turned up - almost half of those who finished the first race at Hagley. Just two FEET turned up to register their second finish of the series, with PHIL WOOD coming home in an excellent 27th position to take third M40. MARK COOPER also braved the rain and the mud and thanks to Mark for the info. | June 15 ~ The latest committee meeting takes place tonight at the Land Oak, with all four committee members present. We still need at least TWO further committee members if anyone out there is interested - all you have to commit to is one Monday evening meeting at the Land Oak each month, and hopefully some fresh ideas on how your club should be run |

| June 6 ~ In what is another blow for the road running community, the annual Sneyd Christmas Pudding 10 mile road race is no more ! Police "concerns" over the course has led to Sneyd Striders cancelling the event for 2009 - despite the 2008 race attracting over 700 finishers. With so few 10 mile road races left, this is a great shame - Christmas will never be the same without that garish pudding medal and the traditional pud in our goody bags |

| June 2 ~ Results from last Sunday's (May 31st) Great Midlands Fun Run will not be available until this Friday, despite the 6,000 strong race being 'chipped'.
