Mar 31 ~ Some advance notices of race dates for 2008 (yep - 2008 !). The Coniston 14 will be on Saturday April 5th, while the Stafford Half Marathon will be on Sunday March 16th

Mar 26 ~ Congratulations to ELLIE HOOPER on her performance at Stafford. Her time of 1:44.32 has replaced Jenny Badham's 6.1/2 year old F50 club record by exactly 15 minutes !

Mar 26 ~ Amazing performances continue to be reported following yesterday's Stafford half Marathon. TRACEY SNOW knocked an amazing 16 minutes off her own half marathon PB at the race. SIMON JAROSINSKI is another who smashed his previous PB. Star of the day however is RACHEL COOPER who knocked 20 minutes off her previous PB. Well done to all of you

Mar 25 ~ A whole host of entry forms collected at Coniston yesterday and now in the Club File - Northumberland Coastal Run 14 miler on July 15th, Blackpool Marathon & Half on June 3rd, Lancaster Half Marathon on October 21st, Schneider 5 at Telford on May 6th, the amazing Cape Wrath Challenges from May 13th to 19th, 15km Pier to Pier Blackpool to Fleetwood on October 7th, Torbay Half Marathon on 24th June, and the Great Langdale Marathon & Half (everybody should run this race as early in their running life as possible) on September 16th. Club File will be at the Glades on Monday 26th

Mar 25 ~ Another outstanding performance as MARK BAILEY knocks six minutes of his half marathon PB to-day at Stafford

Mar 25 ~ Must have been something in the Spring solstice this weekend ~ LIZZIE BELCHER knocked about 15 minutes off her PB in to-day's Bath Half Marathon

Mar 24 ~ RICHARD BAKER has a storming race at the Coniston 14, knocking 18 minutes off last year's time, and even bettering his 2005 time by almost a minute

Mar 22 ~ Entry forms received through the post today for the Timberhonger 10km at Bromsgrove on July 1st. Copies are in the Club File

Mar 21 ~ We have received copies of UK:Athletics Annual Review for 2006. If any club member is interested in receiving a copy to read or keep, please let RICHARD BAKER know. Copies will be available at training nights

Mar 19 ~ Good to see DAVID WHYMANT back racing again after that run at Stourbridge while he was ill. David completed the Milton Keynes Half Marathon on March 11th finishing as third M60. Full details are on the RESULTS PAGE

Mar 19 ~ We have added more entry forms to the Club File : The excellent Newport Carnival 10km on Saturday June 9th, the Loch Ness Marathon and 10km on October 7th, and the amazing Mow Cop Killer Mile on Thursday evening 26th April

Mar 18 ~ Congratulations to CASSIE BELCHER and her mum MARIE BYRNE who both completed the Ironbridge Half Marathon to-day. Full details on the RESULTS PAGE

Mar 17 ~ A "clutch" of FEET raced at the Rhayader Round The Lakes 20 to-day - seven of them to be exact. SHAW PYE finished 15th and RACHEL WARD finished as fourth F45

Mar 12 ~ A further entry form added to the Club File is the Chasewater 10km challenge (and 5km) on July 22nd

Mar 12 ~ After yesterday's Treat, the latest league table moves have been calculated and can now be viewed on the RACE LEAGUE page

Mar 12 ~ Make that 23 finishers at yesterday's Treat, out of a total field of just 126 ! Good job we were there ! COLIN FRANCE has been added to the results

Mar 11 ~ Results from the Treat are now on the RESULTS PAGE. Congratulations to brand new members STEVEN HAWKES who is the first club member home, and HELEN PARISH who is our third lady to finish. RACHEL WARD is indeed third lady and also first F45. Both our men and ladies win the team prizes - RACHEL WARD, AMANDA CROFTS and HELEN PARRISH take the ladies title, while STEVEN HAWKES, SIMON JAROSINSKI, CRAIG BONE and GEORGE STERRY take the men's title

Mar 11 ~ Entry forms added to the Club File to-day include the Gate Gallop 7 at Tamworth on June 24th, and another new event, the Fools Day 5km at Stourport which is unfortunately on April 1st (Scenic Six day). Both are in the Club File, which will be at the Glades on Monday evening before training

Mar 11 ~ LINDSAY PULLEY and ANNE RENDELL took part in the first Hearts First Jog 5km race in the Wyre Forest. Details are on the RESULTS PAGE, and Lindsay's report is on the RACE REPORTS PAGE

Mar 11 ~ Another good club turnout at to-day's Treat in Stourport. Times and results are still to come, but we believe RACHEL WARD was third lady

Mar 8 ~ Andy Warhol once famously quoted "everybody gets their 15 minutes of fame". Club secretary RICHARD BAKER receives his on the Express and Star website - go now and view the video of the Wyre Forest 8 race. Fortunately it only lasts for 30 seconds

Mar 4 ~ SHAW PYE finishes in an excellent 5th place in the Milford 21 cross country race to-day. CRAIG LEWIS, SIMON GREGG and DAVID PYE also take part

Mar 4 ~ Entry forms were picked up at the ROC 8 for the 1st Haughmond Handicap 9 mile race on Monday May 7th at Shrewsbury. This is organised by our friends at Shropshire Shufflers who always support our races so well (20 of them in 2007) and it would be nice to return that support for their inaugural race. Enter now - forms in the Club File

Mar 4 ~ Fantastic support from club members at the ROC 8 this year - we had 61 marshals/helpers which considering many had other commitments on the re-scheduled date is absolutely fantastic. Thanks to you all from the Race Organisers, and indeed the 209 finishers

Mar 4 ~ The eleventh ROC Fencing Wyre Forest 8 takes place in torrential rain, but everything goes smoothly and hopefully all 209 finishers enjoyed their race. Sadly numbers were well down, but his was inevitable with the change of date and clashes with other events, Defending Champion DAVE MANSBRIDGE (Telford AC) and former Champion SUE HOWARTH (U/A) win the race. More information is available on the ROC 8 page

Mar 3 ~ ELLIE HOOPER has a number for next week's Treat that she cannot now use - something to do with a 10th wedding anniversary away. If any club member is interested in buying lucky number 7 off Ellie feel free to contact her. Ellie will be at the ROC 8 tomorrow
