May 29 ~ One or two have noticed (and the RACE LEAGUE PAGE now confirms this) that the Ledbury Chase AND the Shuttle/Mercer Stourport 10km are scheduled for the same day ~ September 23rd. Both races were to have been league races, but the Ledbury Chase moving to a later date has of course made this impossible. As the Stourport 10km is the Worcestershire Championship event, this will be the official Race league event on the 23rd September. We will decide at the next committee meeting which race to replace Ledbury with (if at all). Please e-mail RICHARD BAKER with any suggestions
May 29 ~ With huge apologies for the delay (I've been busy) the RACE LEAGUE PAGE is finally updated. This has involved a lot of work today - please advise if there are any errors I have made and they will be corrected immediately

May 10 ~ Four club members took part in last Sunday's Uffmoor Shuffle - the new 10km multi-terrain race that took the place of the now defunct Halesowen Hillock. 137 ran the event, with JEAN MAFFEI running her first race as a member of AFRC. ANDY NORRIS finished as second M60. Full details on the RESULTS PAGE
May 10 ~ Four club members headed to the mountains of Shropshire last night for the second race in the Summer fell series, the Caradoc Classic. The rain fortunately held off for the 3.1/2 mile race but it had made the 880 feet descent very slippery. Full details are on the RESULTS PAGE now
May 8 ~ SHAW PYE's sub-three hour marathon at Stratford-upon-Avon promoted some debate over previous marathon times recorded by athletes in Amazing Feet colours. As far as we know at the moment, these were all recorded by Amazing Feet members BEFORE the original AFRC changed it's name to Kidderminster RC. At the time we reformed AFRC, we were told that KRC was the original club, and AFRC was a new cub. We didn't agree, but had to accept it to move forward. Therefore, Shaw's record stands, and we still believe he is the first AFRC runner since the club was re-formed to break three hours. However Shaw, just to show you how far you still need to go ... Mike Philpotts ran 2:38.25 at Wolverhampton on 25.03.1984, and current club member ROGER CANAVAN has a 2:40 marathon time. Thanks to COLIN LUCAS for the information - over to you Shaw !
May 8 ~ Third is RICHARD HAYNES, who ran the Wrekin Streak fell race on April 25th. This was the first event in the Shropshire summer fell race series, taking in 810 feet of ascent in it's 2.75 miles. Details are on the RESULTS PAGE. On April 28th RICHARD took part in one-day Ace Race adventure race at Cannock Chase, with 'Fat Bob'. Results are not available yet, but Richard's report will be in FEET FIRST 66 (coming - honest)
May 8 ~ Next up is RUSS FAUSET who finished second in his M60S category in the British orienteering Championships at Pwll Du in Wales on May 5th. Details are on the RESULTS PAGE
May 8 ~ catching up on some results today where members have e-mailed me after the events. First up is DAVID WHYMANT who ran the first of the three race series of 5km races at Hereford Leisure Centre on April 26th. Details are on the RESULTS PAGE but, David recorded a PB, finished as second M60 on the night, and knocked over 4 minutes off Roger Canavan's two-year old club record. David now holds ALL of the club M60 records, except for the marathon distance
May 7 ~ A fabulous first event by our friends from Shropshire Shufflers, but only one club member turned out. RICHARD BAKER ran the Haughmond Handicap 9 - details on the RESULTS PAGE

May 6 ~ We have received confirmation that the 2007 Ledbury Chase 13 mile multi-terrain event will be held on September 23rd, which will probably result in a date clash with the Mercer/Shuttle county 10km race. Thanks to Ellie for contacting Ledbury Harriers. Race is now on the RACE DIARY page, as is the Eastnor Castle 7 next weekend, entries on the day
May 5 ~ D-K results from Wednesday have been updated and full details are on the RESULTS PAGE. Many will find their positions (and/or times) have changed slightly. Those without times before do now have times recorded. Our apologies to ANITA JONES (originally missed off the results) and JULIE DRAPER (down as unattached) for not including them initially. They are now included - the club turnout now stands at 24
May 4 ~ Don't forget - tonight's training run is from the Harbour Inn at Arley, start time 7.15pm
May 4 ~ RACHEAL MOSS has put herself into the club records with her 45.55 clocking at the D-K 10km on Wednesday evening. Racheal broke Norma Edwards' 7-year old F40 record by over a minute. See the CLUB RECORDS page for details
May 4 ~ Well done to RACHEL WARD who was first F45 at the D-K 10km, as well as coming home as tenth lady. RACHEAL MOSS finished as third F40
May 4 ~ A few more times have been added to Wednesday's D-K 10km results : 545 of the 1093 finishers now have times shown, and these are on the RESULTS PAGE
May 3 ~ Disappointing to see that only 23 club members took part in yesterday's DK10k, well down on previous years. Results - as far as available - are on the RESULTS PAGE, though times are only listed thus far for 179 places. Note these results are still provisional

May 3 ~ A huge turnout at the Dudley-Kingswinford 10km yesterday evening with literally little clusters of Amazing Feet athletes in every direction you looked. Results to come

May 2 ~ Entry forms have been added to the Club File for the Redditch 10km at Arrow Valley Country park on Saturday May 19th. This is an excellent event on a Saturday afternoon, and well worth having a go
May 2 ~ JOHN AMOS had asked us to amend a couple of his M45 club records from 2002 (strangely results were missing from Feet First) which we have now done. A good job too, as BRIAN HUMPHRIES club 10 mile record is improved from the same race, and ANDY NORRIS now owns the club M55 10 mile record taking Ian Campbell's 1999 record. JOHN AMOS also now owns the M45 marathon club record, set at Wolverhampton in September 2002 - apologies to Chris Catchpole whose 2006 London time is therefore not a record
May 1 ~ A downloadable entry form for the race is now available on the SWEATSHOP HALF MARATHON page
May 1 ~ Photos from yesterday's Uttoxeter half marathon are now on the FEET IMAGES page
May 1 ~ The RECORDS PAGE has been updated by another three club magazines going back now to February 1998, and up to date this year. Some new records that we missed during the first part of 2007 have now been added : DAVID PYE set a new club M55 20 mile record at Rhayader, while in the same race RACHEL WARD took Jane Pye's two year old record also from Rhayader. LINDSAY PULLEY set a new M65 5 mile record in the Action Heart race, and also broke his own M65 5km record in the Fools Day 5km at Stourport. RACHEAL MOSS took Norma Edwards' eight year F40 5 mile record which was set at the Perton Egg Race, while RACHEL WARD bettered her own F45 Marathon record at London. Finally, ANDY NORRIS gets his name in the records with a M50 run in the Phoenix Flyer of 1998 which just bettered the previously quoted record by John Amos
