November 20 ~ We are delighted to confirm details of the charity donation that Amazing Feet RC made a couple of months ago, in keeping with the proposal adopted at last year's AGM. The committee decided to make a donation to the DANNY APPEAL ~ Danny is 10 year old Danny Sanders of Linnet Rise, Kidderminster, who suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a severe bone wasting disease. Danny is now confined to a wheelchair, and his single mum wants to buy Danny a special motorised wheelchair that helps to raise the user into a standing position. The chair costs £9,400, and we have been delighted as a club to help in a small way. For the full story and pictures, visit www.kidderminstershuttle.co.uk and type Danny in the search box
November 19 ~ Likewise after the Suicide Six-ish, the ladies title is decided with congratulations going to AMANDA POWELL on her first league title. AMANDA is 14 points ahead of ELLIE HOOPER, while RACHEL WARD is a further 19 points back in third place. With confirmation of the points & positions still to come, these are undoubtedly the three ladies winners
November 19 ~ Following yesterday's Suicide Six-ish, a quick calculation of league points indicates that we have our 2007 Champions confirmed with one race still to go. CRAIG BONE has a 33 point lead over GEORGE STERRY, so with one race to go cannot be caught. Congratulations to CRAIG on retaining his Race League title - only the second member to do this (JOHN AMOS has done it twice - in 2001/2 and 2004/5). GEORGE leads MARK BAILEY by 5 points, so the destination of the runners-up and third place trophies remains in the balance. Please note, points positions still to be confirmed

Our three ladies finished 13th out of the 24 teams who managed to finish a team, and first Worcestershire club ahead of our local rivals Stourbridge RC (14th), Halesowen C&AC (15th), Cobra RC (16th). Sadly, only two of this years' finishers were veterans, so we shall be unable to better out third position in last year's veteran competition
