October 31 ~ Congratulations to ANITA JONES who completed Monday's Adidas Dublin Marathon (October 29th) in 3:49.27 (chip time 3:48.27). Full details are on the RESULTS PAGE
October 27 ~ Our men also took part in todays Birmingham & District Invitation league opener at Senneleys Park, posting a brilliant 10th place finish in the newly extended Division 3 (18 teams were registered). Captain SHAW PYE had one of his best ever cross country finishes to take 14th position within the Division. Full details are on the RESULTS PAGE (nb - positions shown are within Division 3)
October 27 ~ Our three intrepid ladies - RACHEL WARD, HELEN PARISH & ELLIE HOOPER - all completed today's Midland Womens League Cross Country opener at Senneleys Park. Times and overall positions are on the RESULTS PAGE
October 27 ~ Congratulations to SARAH ARMSTRONG who completed today's Snowdon Marathon, finishing as 10th F40. Full details are on the RESULTS PAGE
October 27 ~ Last night's QUIZ & CURRY NIGHT at Aggborough proved to be another great success with an evening of fun competition intersected with a wonderful hot supper of chicken curry, chilli con carne, chips, rice and curried vegetables. Many went back for seconds, and as always with our hosts at Kidderminster Harriers FC, there was loads of food left. SARAH & CRAIG LEWIS and DAVID PYE finished up as the 2007 Champions, albeit due to them sneaking in a long distance lorry driver to blitz the opposition in the Motorways Round. October 23 ~ Our website receives it's 70,000th visitor since October 7th 2004 - that's an unbelievable average of 63 per day !
October 22 ~ KEVIN DRAPER now has his time & position from yesterday's Coventry Godiva half marathon - seems he was originally third in the wheelchair race !!  You all know how much I like race chips - good to see that they too need humans to sort them out afterwards !!  Details are on the RESULTS PAGE

October 21 ~ Entry forms picked up today for the Not The Roman IX 12km race on January 20th 2008. This will probably be the first race of the 2008 Race League and fills well up before race day. Forms are in the CLUB FILE
October 21 ~ HELEN PARISH is second lady at the Wellcombe Wobbler multi-terrain hill race at Stratford-upon-Avon. STEVEN HAWKES and a sick RICHARD BAKER also take part. Full details are on the RESULTS PAGE
October 21 ~ JULIE DRAPER nets a three-year PB at the Coventry Godiva half marathon today. KEVIN DRAPER also takes part, but we cannot find him on the results - ah, the "perfect" chip system seems to have cocked up again. Details as we have them are on the RESULTS PAGE

October 16 ~ At last night's committee meeting, a proposal from John Amos was unanimously approved to elect MARTIN CHILDE and RICHARD BAKER as honorary life members of AMAZING FEET RC. This was recognition of their unselfish hard work and time given to the club for over a decade, during a period when the club has grown from 28 members to the current 99.
October 16 ~ We welcome three more new members to the club after being unanimously approved at last night's committee meeting. LOUISE MASSEY, ROBERT KILGOUR and CHRISTOPHER MIKOLAJCZYK take the current membership total up to (we believe - still checking to make sure) 99. We hope all three enjoy their time with AMAZING FEET RC
October 15 ~ The latest club committee meeting takes place at the Land Oak with everyone present. With Corin's resignation we are now one short - if anyone is interested in joining us in our monthly get togethers to keep everything running smoothly, please let RICHARD BAKER or MARTIN CHILDE know

October 13 ~ Four club members run in the Worcs Beacon Race, seven miles up, over, around and down the Malverns. Great to see PETE WALL back racing again after injury, as indeed GORDON SIMS who completed his first comeback race. New member PHILIP WEBER completes his first race for the club and RICHARD BAKER completes his seventh Beacon race. Details on the RESULTS PAGE ~ awaiting results

October 12 ~ 'Early Bird' discounted entries are now available for the Lakeland Trails series until January 31st 2008. Early Bird series entries cost £57 instead of the usual £69. The four races making up the series are Hawkshead 15kms on April 19th, Garburn 23kms on May 31st, Derwentwater 14kms on September 14th and Coniston 15kms on October 4th. October 8 ~ Sadly CORIN ELLIOTT has resigned from the committee, as he is finding it difficult to give the position the time & commitment he feels it deserves. We are sorry to lose Corin from the committee - he has been a valuable member of it since joining in February, and he will be greatly missed
October 8 ~ We hear via the grapevine that CRAIG and SARAH LEWIS completed the Jersey Marathon on Sunday. This was a PB for Sarah, and a marathon debut for Craig. Full details are on the RESULTS PAGE

October 7 ~ And yet another Great North Runner amongst us. TRACEY SNOW has returned from holiday to confirm that she also took part in the event - details are on the RESULTS PAGE
October 7 ~ The latest event in the 2007 Race League sees 14 FEET tackle the North Worcs 8 mile hill race. RICHARD DILWORTH is first home for the club, while DAVID WHYMANT, RACHEL WARD, AMANDA POWELL and ANITA JONES all finish third in their categories. A strange team results system sees the men & women together - our first three finishers come 6th, while we have the first all-female team to finish. Full details are on the RESULTS PAGE
October 6 ~ RICHARD BAKER completed his 55th race of the year at to-day's 15km Coniston Trail Race in the Lakes. Details are on the RESULTS PAGE
October 3 ~ We are delighted to confirm that our Honorary Member TONY FLETCHER has agreed to sponsor the Wyre Forest 8 once again through his company ROC Fencing. This will be the tenth year of ROC Fencing's sole sponsorship of the event, and once again we are grateful to Tony for his fantastic support over the years

October 2 ~ Ah - we have another Great North Runner in our midst ! MARK BAILEY has been in touch to confirm his participation in Europe's largest road race - details are on the RESULTS PAGE
October 2 ~ We have received entry forms for the English Road Running Association Senior Women's 4-stage road relay Championships at Sutton park on Saturday October 20th. If anyone is interested, please let Richard Baker know asap - closing date is OCTOBER 8th.  Each stage is 4.314kms in length
October 1 ~ Just located results from yesterday's Kinver Rotary 10km, with three FEET completing this new event, and all three recording top five category positions. KEVIN DRAPER was 5th M40, JULIE DRAPER 3rd F45, and JAN FLAVELL-RAYBONE was 5th F35. Full details are on the RESULTS PAGE
