| September 30 ~ SHAW PYE and AMANDA POWELL made full use of their places in today's Bupa Great North Run, earned through qualifying times, with Shaw finishing 233rd and Amanda 1,882nd out of almost 50,000. RICHARD BAKER completed his 20th consecutive GNR (and he still maintains, his last). Full details are on the RESULTS PAGE |
| September 29 ~ IAN HALL's persistent knee injury means he will have to miss the North Worcs 8 and Bells of Pattingham races. He has numbers for both, up for grabs |
| September 24 ~ Yesterday's Shuttle/Mercer 10km was the Worcestershire County 10km Championships event, and didn't we do well ? | September 24 ~ Congratulations to MARK BAILEY who recorded a PB at yesterday's Shuttle/Mercer 10km on Sunday, by a huge TWO SECONDS ! Spare a thought though for SARAH LEWIS, who thought she had bettered her PB by one second, only to then discover that she had MISSED it by ONE SECOND ! |

| September 23 ~ An excellent club turnout at today's Inter-Club League race at Stourport - the Mercer/Shuttle 10km. 22 Members take part, with our ladies taking the team prize, and AMANDA POWELL finishing as third lady. | September 20 ~ Our best wishes go to JEAN MAFFEI who has recently been in hospital for six days and is now recovering at home. Jean is OK, but not in running shape at the moment. However, she has a brand new pair of trainers to inspire her to an early return, and she is threatening to run a marathon when she does. Get fit soon Jean, and hurry back |

| September 19 ~ We have received entry forms from Telford AC for their excellent Christmas 10km in Town Park on December 16th. This will be the 24th running of this event, and forms are available in the Club File. Please note that the event filled up in 2006 before race day - don't leave it too late |
| September 19 ~ We have received entry forms for the third Brands Hatch half marathon and 10km on February 9th 2008. Please note however that this date clashes with our next race promotion, the Wyre Forest 8 where we will need club members to assist with marshalling and other duties |

| September 17 ~ We have received entry forms today for the Saucony National Cross Country Relays 2007, which will be held on Saturday November 3rd at Berry Hill Park, Mansfield. | September 16 ~ It's congratulations to DAVID PYE who finally breaks the 4 hour marathon mark at today's Robin Hood race in Nottingham. Only just mind you - 3 hours 47.01 ! Not only a PB for David, but he has also removed Ian Campbell's 7.1/2 year old M55 club marathon record. Details are on the RESULTS PAGE |

| September 13 ~ We have received entry forms for the first race in the UK Challenge Cross Country series 2007. This however is no longer at Senneleys Park - venue is Gateshead International stadium, Tyneside ! If you fancy a 360 mile trip for an 8.7 kms race - forms are in the Club File. Other races in this year's challenge are at Sefton Park, Liverpool; Stormont Estate, Belfast and Wollaton Park, Nottingham |
| September 11 ~ The quiz and curry night is confirmed for Friday October 26th in the Aggborough Suite at Kidderminster Harriers FC. Ticket prices will be £5 for club members, and £7.50 for guests (£5 for children), which includes a curry or chilli supper during the interval of the quiz. Please let JANE PYE know if you intend to come, along with the number of guests you are bringing, so we can ensure there is sufficient food for everyone |

ELLIE HOOPER finished as 6th F50 despite still struggling with a mysterious knee injury, while RACHEL WARD returned following her nasty Triathlon accident earlier in the year and finished as 9th F45. | September 9 ~ Well done to CRAIG & SARAH LEWIS who carried the AMAZING FEET flag in the Chelmorton Chase 5 miler in the Peak District on their way home from holiday. Both also took part in the Derwentwater 14km trail race on Saturday 1st - full details are on the RESULTS PAGE |

| September 5 ~ Spotted our two fell experts both ran the final race of the Shropshire summer series at the Ragleth Inn on August 29. CRAIG & SARAH LEWIS both completed the 4 mile/1600 feet race - details on the RESULTS PAGE. Craig finished 9th overall in the summer series and 8th senior male, RICHARD HAYNES finished 89th overall and Sarah 106th overall. Well done to you all. | September 4 ~ We have received entry forms from Midland Counties for this season's MCAA Men's & Women's Cross Country Relays, to be held at Bramcote Park in Nottingham on Saturday October 6th. The men's race consists of 4 x 6km legs, and the women's event 3 x 6km legs. The club can enter as many teams as it wants, but all entries have to be in by September 21st. Any interested members should speak to Cross Country captains SHAW PYE or SARAH LEWIS asap |
