September 20 ~ AMAZING FEET RC is delighted to announce details of the 13th running of the Wyre Forest 8 in February 2010. Runaround Sports at Top Barn, Worcester have once again agreed to sponsor the race, which will be known as the Runaround Wyre Forest M/T. The race has been moved back a week to Sunday February 21st : this is the end of the half-term holiday week, which will hopefully give us the services of more marshals. It will also avoid our annual clash with the final Cross Country League races on the Saturday afternoon. Entry fees will remain at a recession-busting £8 (£6 for affiliated club members). Full details are available on the RUNAROUND WYRE FOREST M/T PAGE
September 20 ~ News from CRAIG BONE of two recent events he has taken part in. Last Sunday (13th) he finished 16th out of 120 in the Woodchester Park M/T 8 (full details are on the RESULTS PAGE) and to-day he took part in the Longworth 10km : results are still awaited for this one
September 19 ~ The SOCIAL EVENTS PAGE has been updated to include details of up-coming events in the club calendar
September 18 ~ We have been advised to-day of an Emergency First-Aid course being organised by St. John's in Kidderminster on October 1st. The evening course (7-10pm) covers the basic first aid requirements for a coach or club member. The course costs £24, which the club would consider re-imbursing if anyone is interested in taking the course. There are only 16 places available however, so if there is any club member who is interested, please let RICHARD BAKER know as soon as possible
September 15 ~ Not only did SARAH ARMSTRONG complete the Lake Vyrnwy half marathon on Sunday (13th), but her time of 1:34.35 smashed Norma Edwards' nine year old F40 half marathon record by 12.1/2 MINUTES !
September 15 ~ SARAH LEWIS went for something just a little hillier than Lake Vyrnwy on Sunday (13th), tackling the 28th Stretton Skyliner, an 18 mile fell race with 4,450 feet of ascent !  Congratulations to Sarah on finishing as 4th F40 ; full details are on the RESULTS PAGE

RICHARD BAKER let the men down after a toe injury on Saturday morning forced him out. Full details are on the RESULTS PAGE

Well done also to GERALDEEN LYNCH, who took the F45 title

September 6 ~ Disappointing that only three members entered the new Worcester multi-terrain Half Marathon at Top Barn to-day, but all three finished in their category top tens. DAVID WHYMANT finished as third M60 in an ever more competitive category, ANDY NORRIS was 4th M60 and KEVIN DRAPER 7th M45. Full details are on the RESULTS PAGE
September 5 ~ Results from the recent Strawberries and Cream 10km at Top Barn are available - well sort of !  Using new software that the organisers soon discovered didn't work, there are only times published for the first 25 out of 180. Positions are available, and these are now on the RESULTS PAGE. If PHIL WOOD and GEORGE STERRY-MacDONALD would like to e-mail me their times, I will gladly include them
