RACE LEAGUE ARCHIVES 2009
RACE No. 4 ~ IRONBRIDGE HALF MARATHON : 22.03.2009
With six opting to run Rhayader just 24 hours earlier, only four members took part in race number four of the 2009 race League - the lowest turnout ever for a League race. JOHN AMOS and GERRY SANDERS are now the only two ever-presents this year, moving into first and second position in the League. Sadly, work commitments forced Craig Bone to retire his consecutive League race streak at 49. GERRY has now completed 80 consecutive races. JEAN MAFFEI is the only lady to take part, scoring her first points of 2009 and now in a four-way tie for second place behind League leader SUZANNE DUNN.
