RACE No. 1 ~ HEREFORD NEW YEAR'S DAY 10km 01.01.08
" HAPPY NEW YEAR .... "
No messing about as the ninth Inter-Club Race League began on the first day of the new year - hangovers and all. Despite the unfortunate date (we were testing you to see how keen you really are !) 15 members made the journey down to Hereford, for this undulating 10km on rural roads which was held this year in near perfect running conditions. And guess what ! After one race, the 2006 and 2007 League Champion CRAIG BONE is top of this year's league. The leading lady at this early stage is LOUISE MASSEY, completing only her second League race after debuting at Mortimer Forest in December. GERRY SANDERS ever-present streak now stands at 61, CRAIG BONE is on 31.
