Membership
of AMAZING FEET RC is open to runners of all ages, abilities and
backgrounds ~ all we ask is that you can comfortably run three miles
at your pace before coming along to run with us. All you need to do
then is turn up at the Glades on a Monday or Wednesday evening at 7.00
pm and look for the 'athletes' (only kidding). If you contact one of
us in advance we can look out for you, and ensure that we take your
requirements and ability into account when we decide where we are
going to run on that night. Contact details of the current committee
are given below.
Once you
have run with us for a few weeks, we would expect you to join the
club, which only costs £15 per year, due in November. The
benefits of membership of AMAZING FEET RC are listed below. Once you
have decided to join us, you will be asked to fill in an application
form with your full details (name, address, phone & e-mail contact
details, date and county of birth etc) and hand this to our Membership
Secretary along with your cheque for £15. Please note, under the
club's constitution, this application has to be proposed and seconded,
then approved at the next committee meeting (committee meetings are
held once a month, usually on the second Monday). You are not allowed
to enter races as an AMAZING FEET RC member until your application has
been approved by committee.
Your
details, once approved, will then be registered with Midland Counties
AA and you will receive your personal reference number which is linked
to AMAZING FEET RC. It is possible you will be asked for this
reference number on some race entry forms, but not all.
