THURSDAY NOVEMBER 22

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

This will be held at the Aggborough Suite at Kidderminster Harriers FC, Hoo Road on Thursday November 22nd at 7.30 for 8.00. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available, and there is a pay bar downstairs should you require something a little stronger. Hopefully everything will be finished by 9.30. Annual subscriptions will become due at the AGM, and SARAH LEWIS will be pleased to accept your cheques on the night.

This is your chance to have your say on how the club is run - if you don't attend, then we are unable to debate any problems you may have. Agendas will be sent out to all members next month (October) and there are one or two important issues up for discussion, one of which will be a proposal to increase the club's membership fee which has remained at £10 for several years.

FRIDAY DECEMBER 14 CHRISTMAS MEAL

The club's Christmas meal will be held at The Brasserie in Kidderminster on Friday December 14th. We have booked the upstairs function room at the Brasserie, where we will be able to seat up to 90 people. There will be a set menu (which we are waiting for) and we are still looking at providing entertainment as there is a dance floor. Prices should be the same as they were last year, but this will be confirmed in due course.

Names please to JANE PYE as soon as possible as we need to have a minimum number, and obviously the sooner we are sure of this, the better.

DECEMBER CHRISTMAS TREASURE HUNT

JANE PYE and David are hoping to organise another of their excellent treasure hunts in December, which may well be held in conjunction with Christmas themed events at Harvington Hall.   Watch this space ....

FRIDAY JANUARY 18, 2008 AFRC AWARDS PRESENTATION NIGHT

The club's most prestigious social evening takes place at the Aggborough Suite at Kidderminster Harriers FC, Hoo Road on Friday January 18th at 7.30. All the club awards will be presented on the night, including the Runner of the Year, Most Improved Runner, Best Newcomer, Club Person of the Year, Race League trophies, cross country medals etc, and should not be missed. There will be a superb buffet meal available during the evening, as well as a social event to be confirmed. The evening is subsidised for club members, and costs will be confirmed closer to the event. For now, make a note in your diary to be at this one.
