April 6 ~
Provisional results from the 2009 Scenic Six and Fun Run are now
available :: see links in the table at foot of page. Please e-mail us
at camba.events@btinternet.com
should there be any queries and we will endeavour to sort them out for
you. |
|
April 5 ~ What a fantastic day ! The sun shone, the sky was
blue, the course was as dry as it's ever been, and lambs were being
born in the farmyard next to the finish line ! TOM KENDERDINE,
now of Halesowen A&CC, won the Scenic Six for the fourth time in
succession and the fifth time overall in an excellent time of 34.59.
just 15 seconds outside his own course record. Our youngest
competitor in the ladies race at just 15 years old took the title in a
time of 42.17 : well done to BETH PUDIFOOT from Bourton Road Runners. |
|
April 4 ~
REGISTRATION OPENS TOMORROW AT 9.30 am with Scenic Six entries at £10
(£8 for affiliated club members) and Fun Run entries at £3. PLEASE
bring the correct money, and PLEASE do not leave it until the last
minute :: we have to log all on the day entries into the computer in
time for the results to be produced. We will CLOSE registration at
10.50 am regardless, as staff need to get to the start line (as indeed
do you). Don't forget, BRING MONEY WITH YOU FOR OUR EXCELLENT CAKES &
SNACKS ! See you tomorrow. |
|
April 4 ~ Well, to-day's weather was considerably better than
forecast, and with little or no rain, the course should be in perfect
condition for tomorrow's 8th running of the Scenic Six |
|
April 3 ~ Yet
another dry day today means that the course this year should be in
very good condition. However, the weather forecast for Saturday
promises a considerable amount of rain, which may well leave parts of
the course very wet. Sunday's forecast is for a reasonable sunny day
(fingers crossed). |
|
April 3 ~ The
race clock has been delivered this afternoon. |
|
April 2 ~
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE NOW CLOSED ADVANCE ENTRIES :: ANY FURTHER

|
