who crossed the line in 37.15, just over half a minute in front of BEN
JONES who was second. Our Ladies Scenic Six Champion for 2012 is EMMA

April
1 : A massive thank you on behalf of all of you to the many volunteers
and helpers who made to-day what it is. All the marshals on the route,
the wonderful ladies who baked cakes and made rolls (we know most of
you only come for the cakes), the fabulous guys & girls from BLACK
PEAR JOGGERS who helped out at registration and at the finish
(wonderful job all of you !), the car park attendants, the commentary
team, the Paramedics who I think were untroubled on the day and
everybody else who did anything at all to help. |
|
April
1 : Wow - what a beautiful day - the sun shone, the sky was blue and
once again you all turned out in huge numbers to swamp us on the day
and raise loads for St Richards Hospice. Thanks to all of you
for your support once again. |
|
March
31 : See you tomorrow. |
|
March
31 : Parking is on the field next to the farm which is almost opposite
to the Village Hall. Please follow the signs and marshals
instructions, AND PLEASE DO NOT PARK ELSEWHERE IN THE VILLAGE.
Residents live here so please respect their spaces and use the
official car park. |
|
March
31 : On the day entries will be accepted tomorrow morning up until
10.45 in the main room of Peopleton Village Hall. Race HQ will be open
at 09.00 so please come along as early as possible so we can try to
alleviate some of the queues that form around 10.15/10.30. |
|
March
31 : One day to go to RACE DAY and the latest forecast for Peopleton
is suggesting 12 degrees (though possibly a little cooler at 11.00 am)
and white cloud. No rain forecast, so the ground condition remains
very firm. |
|
March
29 : We still have wall-to-wall sunshine in our part of the world, but
the forecast for the weekend is for cooler temperatures (good for
running) and more mixed weather in terms of cloud ~ the course is
currently rock hard after two weeks of sunshine so bear this in mind
when deciding what to wear on your feet. |
|
March
29 : Sadly, our 2011 Ladies Champion SANDRA LANE has been in touch and
cannot now make Sunday's event. We are sorry that she has to miss out
this year, but there is now an opportunity for somebody else to take
the 2012 title. |
|
March
