JUNE 7 > Well - just
how on earth did we manage to avoid that rain ? A dry race
at Warndon saw the 5km race won by last year's winner BEN LEVINE,
in the same record time as last year ! CHRISTINE SEDMAN-SMITH from
Kidderminster & Stourport AC won the ladies 5km, with 13-year old
JAKE WATSON winning the under-16's 5km. In the 10km race, ANTHONY
WILSON from Nemesis GB club was first home, while 2008 winner
ALISON BAGNALL of Stratford-upon-Avon AC won the ladies 10km. |

MAY 12 > A glorious
sunny afternoon showed Kingsbury Water Park at it's very best, and
despite a strong and blustery wind, conditions were good for the
8th Kingsbury Classic at 7.30pm. Congratulations to our 2009
Champions : CHRIS DAVIES of Worcester AC in 35.15, and LINDA
HOWELL from Bournville Harriers (our 2007 Champion) in a ladies course record of
40.19. Full results are now available via the KINGSBURY CLASSIC

working through these, but with another event tomorrow evening, we

Congratulations to AARON BURGESS (Oxford City AC) and RACHEAL
ELLIOTT (Team Kennet) who are the 2009 RNLI Lymington 10km
Champions. Kelvin Weafer and Oli Dodd (Bath Uni AC) were second
and third, with Erica Fogg (New Forest Runners) and former
Champion Nicola Blandford (Southampton RC) second and third in the
ladies race. |

obviously becoming something of an epidemic, but in the last two
days we have received THREE further notifications of A4 letters at
Royal Mail with insufficient postage on them, awaiting us to pay
£1.08 to collect each of them. PLEASE PUT THE CORRECT POSTAGE ON
YOUR ENVELOPES : these items will NOT be collected and your
entries will not reach us. |

insufficient postage on it. Might it be yours ? Contact us if so

YOU PUT A "LARGE" FIRST OR SECOND CLASS STAMP ON IT. We have

been advised by Warndon Parish Council that the 2009 Warndon Fun
Runs will go ahead this year, on Sunday June 7th. We have no
further details as yet, awaiting a Parish Council meeting. Watch

Royal Mail advice of an entry in an A4 sized envelope addressed to
Camba Events with insufficient postage. Please check with us if
you think this may have been yours as we will not be paying the
excess to collect this item. |

MARCH 1 > WE are
delighted to confirm that the 2009 Kingsbury Classic 10km race
will go ahead, following confirmation from Kingsbury Water Park
and Peel Road Runners who will marshal the course once again. Race
date is confirmed as TUESDAY May 12th and the KINGSBURY CLASSIC
page has now been updated. Entry form will be available within a
couple of days. |

re-setting much of the information on our website, we have taken
the opportunity to change some pages so they fit in with the
general style of the website. First up is the RNLI LYMINGTON
10km page which has been re-vamped and re-launched today. The
race entry form is now available from the race page. |

will have noticed that we have been having problems with our
website. It even vanished at one stage, but hopefully we are now
back up and running properly. We apologise to all those who
support our events and thank those of you who have been in contact
