Our methods include bulleting tubes with water driven pumps using our design registered cleaners.
The Steel Cleaner is suitable for titanium and stainless steel tubes and gives an aggressive clean removing hard scale and tube deposits.
The Phosphor Bronze cleaner is suitable for cuni, 70/30, 90/10, admiltary brass, and older tubes. This type of cleaner does not cause any galvanic reaction with tubes of this type because both materials are very close on the periodic table. They are also less aggressive to the tubes than the steel cleaner whilst still giving an excellent clean.
The Brush cleaner gives a gentler clean, and is ideal for removing soft silty deposits and slime, and any obstructions. Regularly used inconjunction with online ball cleaning systems at outage time.
Other methods of cleaning include high pressure water jetting, air driven bulleting - useful for cleaning boilers, u-tube bundles, heat exchangers etc.
RICO are also the UK agent for CTI, an American company who manufacture and install tube shields and tube liners. These products will extend the life of condenser / heat exchanger tubes at a fraction of the cost of replacing the tubes (approx. 80% savings on a retube).
