Since
graduating in modern languages, Maria Sarkar has specialised in the
planning and execution of marketing communications programmes.
In addition to formal qualifications in marketing and direct
marketing, she has over 15 years practical experience in marketing
research, developing marketing campaigns, project management, copy-writing
and production of traditional and new media marketing materials.
Her early
career began as a management trainee with British Rail before joining one
of the leading Marketing Consultancies in London.
Subsequently she worked as an Account Director for a specialist
business to business Marketing & PR agency.
Over the
last six years Maria has applied her marketing skills and experience to
the professional services sector. She provides Marketing Support for
Ridley Fleming and Ridley Fleming clients.
Maria has
written several articles on marketing and practice development that have
been published in the professional services press.
She is also Editor of PSMG
News, the newsletter of the Professional
Services Marketing Group and online editor of their web site.
