Creating and developing these teams is one of the greatest challenges a business faces.
Many people assume that a group of individuals working to together toward a common goal is a team. But most groups mature towards a team only through awareness, learning and determination.
This workshop concentrates on the 5 vital areas of team activity that can make or break effective teams: planning and setting goals, organisation and roles, operating processes, interpersonal relationships, inter-group relations

- How successful teams work - characteristics of a team (cohesiveness, organisation, participation, communication decision making and problem solving)
- How teams evolve
- Individual team roles and how they contribute to the performance of the team
- Individual team behaviours - what helps and what hinders
- Practical team working exercise to practise individual team working skills and to understand team dynamics
- This is a highly participative workshop designed to review team-working skills, to introduce a model for identifying team-working behaviour and to highlight delegates' strengths and weaknesses when working in a team
