Another dawn
steals across an inner shore,
ignites mundane normality -
grey refuge
from the inner ring
of cockcrow.

Your tender voice
entreats me,
leads me from divided self
to meet Your eyes
anew.

Today - beyond denials -
You still seek affirmation
of my sparse
and fractured love.

I come -
my brokeness made whole
in You.
