comment - Tetley Bitter |
Boreatton Arms |
| Drinkers make good use of the tables outside on warm Summer nights. Two real ales, the John Smiths was ordinary but the Old Speckled Hen was well kept and tasty. Food served. Restaurant area - unused when we called on a Saturday night. Car park. Situated near the level crossing on the Myddle to Ruyton road. Tel 01939 261412. Visited May 2005 |

in on a Saturday night, and we didn't think the pub was as welcoming as on
our previous visit in 2000. Two beer-pulls but only one was in action. The
Banks's Bitter was okay. Car park. Collection of banknotes above the bar. Situated opposite
the old Norman church just off the B5067. Tel 01939 260335. Visited

comments 1. London Pride 2. I thought I would let you know that the New Inn at Baschurch has changed hands since your last comments. It re-opened in August 2005 after a major re-furb. There are 3-4 cask ales on tap at all times. A new kitchen has been built and a quality menu is now available 7 days a week. A bar snack menu is also available for those wanting a quick lunch.
