A friendly roadside inn that serves well kept and very tasty real ale and
excellent food as well. It's best to book a table in advance if you're
planning on having a meal. Fresh flowers and candles give the inn a nice relaxed
atmosphere. Log fire and friendly staff too. Eaten here twice - both times
found it excellent. Situated on the A528 between Shrewsbury and Ellesmere.

Mar 2006- Visited on a Wednesday lunchtime. It's a smart and well run Robinsons' tenancy and clearly a great deal of work has been put into it. 3 handpulls with Robinsons Unicorn as standard, plus 2 "guests" from the Robinsons portfolio. 4 star beer - July 2010 |
