Kings Arms |
Freehouse. A
friendly welcome in this traditional country village local. Every square inch of wall is
covered with pictures, brasses, nic-nacs or stuffed animals. Spacious pub with food
served. The Courage Directors was tasty and satisfying but the Wyre Piddle was a bit
disappointing with a taste of watered down white wine. Situated on the Bull Ring not
far from the church. Tel - 01746 710307. Visited Jan 2002 |

Courage Directors Bitter Wyre Piddle in the Snow |
| Readers comments - The real ale served is excellent, there is usually two different ales per week and the reverend James is a particular favourite, Great pub and very friendly, xmas decorations are fantastic so well worth a visit. Food served on sat and sunday afternoons are superb and very reasonable. I found drink prices very good and there is a wide selection of spirits and nice wines including homemade mulled wine during the festive season - Dec 2009 |
