Readers comments - Shadia says: I was searching pubs in Cleobury Mortimer and saw that the Kings Arms didn't rate too high - although I do see that it was last visited in 2001. the pub has now been transformed and is a Hobsons brewery pub - good beer and food - Feb 2008
  

The Old Lion

Freehouse. Loud juke box can ruin a good conversation - but at least the Hobsons's beer is well kept and tasty. A real fire and lots of pine. Pool table. Situated on Lower Street. Tel - 01299 270085. Visited Dec 2001.

Freehouse. Abbot Ale nice and clear. Batemans not quite up to their usual standard. Comfortable  pub with sofas and soft chairs. Food served. Situated on Church Street. Tel - 01299 270177. Visited Aug 2001.

Banks's pub. Situated down the alleyway next to the Talbot Hotel on Talbot Square. Very tasty drop of Enville Ale - light coloured and refreshing - very drinkable. Food served. Big black fireplace with lots of trophys. Lots of beams. Tel - 01299 270382. Visited Aug 2001.

Freehouse hotel. Very drinkable Hobsons Bitters. Friendly service. Food served - but expect a wait. Accommodation. A few parking spaces at the front. Nice stone fireplaces. Bar and eating area. Pool table. Hops along the main beam in the bar. Situated on High Street. Tel - 01299 270036. Visited May 2001 and Feb 2002.
