It's got about three drinking rooms, a car park, and is situated on the main A528
between Harmer Hill and Ellesmere. Food served - we enjoyed fish and chips
on a Wednesday. Tuesday is curry night and Sunday is quiz night. It's the only pub in
Cockshutt now The Crown has closed down. Only one real ale on our last
visit - a nicely kept pint of Greene King IPA. Formerly

| Readers comments - Has a separate bar, lounge and dining areas together with a book-swap area. The pub was very quiet for a Friday night but the obliging landlord was happy to make a pot of tea for the designated driver - Feb 2011. |
