average. Most of the pub is given over to dining - and very popular it
seems too, especially Sunday lunch. Food served. Large car park. Large
extension on the side acts as a warm and inviting dining room. Caravans &
camping available. Situated on the A49
just north of Dorrington. Tel - 01743 718209. Visited Mar 2007 |

was an old coaching type pub before the major transformation in 2010. Now
it has an open-plan, modern, contemporary, light and airy interior with an
oak framed conservatory at the back. Food served and a restaurant area.
Car park. Beer garden. The Ludlow Best would have scored an
extra star if it wasn't served so cold. Free Wi-Fi. The village Post
Office has also had a make-over as part of the re-development. Situated on the A49 in the
middle of the village. Tel - 01743 718305. Visited Dec 2011 Pub

| Readers comments - An impressive refurbishment, making the original layout unrecognizable. The intention is to concentrate on more local beers. On the day there were three beers on, two from Wye Valley and one Three Tuns (score 3 stars) - Aug 2010 |
