Food served - and very tasty and good value it was too. Accommodation. Situated on Scotland Street. Tel - 01691 622418. Visited Aug 2011  Pub website

Swan Inn

Only one real ale and it was a bit sad and tasteless. Open plan pub with a collection of sporting trophies. It was pretty busy on the Saturday night when we called in. Situated on Cross Street. Tel - 01691 622596  Visited Aug 2011
Tetley Bitter
Readers comments - Cheap at £2.40 per pint, only Tetleys on handpull and pretty ropey - May 2010

White Hart

Historic half timbered pub with loads of beams and three real ales. Two rooms - bar and lounge. The pub had a sign outside saying 'to let'.  The beer was tasty and well kept but we couldn't help thinking how much better the pub could be if a permanent owner could be found. Nice atmosphere, not spoiled by music. Situated on Birch Road. Tel - 01691 622333  Visited  May 2010
